A word to
Fugger-Klinik is your new home. All our staff want you to feel comfortable here. That’s why we offer many activities and would be happy if you participate in our barbecues, game afternoons, outings, Christmas parties, and other events.
Make yourself comfortable in the foyer, the fireplace room, and other communal areas, and of course, in your room. Your room is already furnished with bright, friendly wooden furniture. However, if you’d like, you can bring some of your personal furniture and belongings to make it feel more like home. It’s important that the furniture is also care-friendly. For example, too many pieces of furniture or rugs might get in the way of you and your caregivers.
A new home in the heart of Berlin
You have your own personal story and individual needs, and our qualified care staff is committed to meeting them with care and dedication. We understand that your level of activity depends on your condition, and we hope you find a good balance between retreat and engagement. If you have any questions, concerns, criticism, or wishes, please don’t hesitate to let us know.
We are always here for you.

Taking a close relative or life partner from their familiar surroundings and placing them in a care facility is never easy. However, there may come a time when safe and supportive care at home is no longer possible, or it has become too burdensome for you as a family member.
Take your time to visit the Fugger-Klinik and talk with us about your needs. Together with the attending physicians, we will determine in which care area of the Fugger-Klinik your relative can be best supported. If you choose our facility, we will assist you with the necessary formalities.
Not only high-quality medical and therapeutic care is important. Care-dependent individuals also need loving care and the feeling of being respected and taken seriously. Many family members experience their visits to the Fugger-Klinik as very positive. When visitors feel that their loved ones are well cared for, they are reassured. They can relax and even rest. Our staff also listens to the concerns and problems of family and friends – and this is greatly appreciated.

Intensive care in the heart of Berlin

A good care culture includes both life support and end-of-life care. A dignified approach to individuals in the final phase of life also includes allowing the dying to remain in the care facility, their familiar environment, for as long as possible.
Palliative care has grown out of the hospice movement. It requires an empathetic and mindful approach from all involved in the care.
We are happy to discuss your and your family’s wishes and preferences for your final life phase at any time and document them for your assurance.
Our caregivers and doctors provide excellent care and support according to your wishes, including any necessary pain therapy. The prospect of a dignified and peaceful farewell helps all involved to cope with the end of life and death.
