A special feature of the Fugger-Klinik is its cooperation agreements with various general practitioners.

These doctors are available for emergencies at night and on weekends. Naturally, every resident has the right to choose their own doctor. Most residents use the medical care provided by the cooperating doctors. All doctors, therapists, and caregivers work together harmoniously.

The doctors ensure that the specialized and therapeutic care is well coordinated. Cooperating specialists from the immediate vicinity of the Fugger-Klinik can be consulted. Right next door, there is a facility for minor surgical procedures. Even the dentist comes to the house.

Caring.
Competent.
Secure.

The Fugger-Klinik has a high staff-to-resident ratio: Nearly 80 part-time and full-time employees in the nursing department – 60 percent of whom are skilled professionals – care for the 108 residents.

This ensures that the nursing staff is not overburdened and can focus on providing individual care. On each floor, a dedicated care team works together, so that residents can become accustomed to „their“ caregivers. Nurses, elderly care specialists, nursing assistants, therapists, and the doctor regularly exchange information about the care process. Through participation in further education and training, the staff at the Fugger-Klinik ensures consistently high-quality care.

The teams work with various care concepts tailored to the medical conditions of the residents. All concepts are based on modern nursing science and are designed holistically. For the staff at the Fugger-Klinik, optimal care means not only competent medical care but also loving interpersonal behavior. The primary caregivers assist residents with daily activities such as eating, drinking, personal hygiene, and mobility, and are always attentive to the individual needs of each resident.
